    To help you plan your day out at the Showground, we have compiled a list of our most frequently asked visitor questions.

    If you have a question which isn’t answered here, please call our general enquiries line on 01702 549623, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (excluding Bank Holidays).

     

    COVID-19 FAQS


    Will there be any COVID restrictions / guidelines in place?
    It is very difficult to say what will be in place later this year, we are hoping that there will be minimal restrictions, however we will be keeping a close eye on the news and working very closely with the venue and local government to ensure everyone is safe.

    Do I have to wear a face covering?
    Although this is not compulsory, we strongly encourage that face coverings are worn whilst you visit any inside area of the show.

    Do I have to be ‘double jabbed’ or have proof  of COVID status to attend the show?
    No, at this stage, this is not a mandatory requirement and we will not need to see evidence of a negative lateral flow test. However we advise all visitors follow the current Government recommendations and guidelines.

    Can I speak to someone about my ticket booking?
    If you have problems with your tickets or are unable to make the new dates, please contact our ticket support team at RedBox who will be able to assist you. Please call 0333 242 7912 or email support@yourticketbooking.com.

    If the show doesn’t go ahead due to COVID-19, will I get a refund on my tickets?
    If the show is unable to go ahead due to COVID-19, all tickets will be valid for next year’s show. You won’t have to do anything – just hold on to your tickets and bring them with you to the show as normal. Alternatively, if you would like to request a refund on your ticket price, please call our ticket support team Redbox on 0333 242 7912.

     

    GENERAL FAQS


    When does the Norfolk Festive Gift Show take place and what are the opening times?
    The Norfolk Festive Gift Show takes place on Friday 12th, Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th November 2021. On Friday and Saturday the show will be open from 9am – 5pm and on Sunday it will be open from 9am – 4pm.

    What’s the full address?
    The event takes place at the Norfolk Showground. The venue’s address is: Norfolk Showground, New Costessey, Norwich, Norfolk, NR5 0TT.

    Can I bring a Buggy or Pram?
    Although buggies and prams are not permitted in the Main Hall, we are pleased to introduce a FREE buggy park which you are welcome to use at the entrance to the Main Show Building. Buggies and prams are permitted in all outdoor areas.

    Can tickets only be used on the day selected?
    Yes, tickets must be booked for the day you plan to attend the show and can only be used on the day and entry time slot you have booked for (Sunday tickets cannot be used on Saturday, for example). If you are unable to print your tickets, we do also accept viewings on smartphones.

    Why do I have to book an entry time slot for my tickets?
    To help alleviate queues and to aid in social distancing measures, we have introduced an entry time slot system. The time slots are 9am – 11am, 11am – 12pm and 12pm onwards. You can select which arrival time slot suits you best when you book your tickets.

    Do the time slot entry tickets mean we’re limited to how long we can stay at the event?
    No, your time slot entry tickets are for your arrival time to the show only. You can stay at the event for as long as you like. The event closes at 5pm on Saturday and at 4pm on Sunday.

    Can I book my tickets online?
    Tickets can be booked in advance on our website by clicking here. For the safety and comfort of everyone attending this year’s event, we are limiting the tickets available, so we would strongly advise booking online to guarantee entry to the show on your day of choice. We are hoping to have a small amount of tickets available on the gate, however these will be subject to availability. For full ticket prices click here.

    Can I book tickets over the phone?
    Yes, the number to call is 0333 242 7912. Lines are open Monday – Friday between 9am and 5pm excluding Bank Holidays. Calls are charged at 7p per minute plus any network charges from your supplier.

    I’m having trouble booking tickets – what should I do?
    If you have problems with your tickets or the ticket booking process, please contact our ticket support team at RedBox who will be able to assist you. Please call 0333 242 7912 or email support@yourticketbooking.com.

    I can’t find my confirmation email – how do I get it resent?
    If you’ve deleted your email confirmation or just can’t find it you can have it resent to the original email address used. Please contact our ticket support team at RedBox who will be able to assist you by emailing support@yourticketbooking.com.

    Is there an additional charge for parking?
    No, parking at the Norfolk Showground is free for visitors. There are plenty of car parking spaces available, some hard-standing and the remainder on grass.

    How far is the car park from the show entrance?
    The main car park is around five minutes walk to the Main Exhibition Hall entrance.

    Is the show accessible for wheelchairs?
    Yes, the show is on flat ground so is accessible for wheelchair users.

    Are there parking facilities for those who need accessibility?
    Yes. The spaces are as close as possible to the entrance at the show. Please ask staff on arrival and they will direct you to these spaces.

    Do you have a concession for carers?
    Yes, we offer free entry for carers. You will need to book tickets for everyone else in your group but the carer/s will receive complimentary entry. Just let the team on the gate know and they will arrange entry.

    Is the Christmas Market indoors or outdoors?
    This year’s Christmas Market is both indoors and outdoors, so we advise visitors to dress accordingly for all weather.

    Are dogs allowed in the grounds?
    Dogs on leads are allowed in the extensive parkland around the Showground, but not in the Main Exhibition Hall. Guide dogs for the blind or for the hard of hearing are, however, welcome in all areas. Please respect our surroundings and pick up any waste after your dog and dispose of it in the dog litter bins that are situated in various places around the park.

    Can I enter the show more than once during my visit?
    Yes, we will issue hand stamps for anyone wishing to return throughout the day of their visit. If hand stamps are not available due to COVID-19 regulations at the time, please let a member of the team on the gate know that you would like re-entry to the show and they will arrange this for you on the day of your visit.

    I can no longer arrend. Can I get a refund?
    We’re sorry that you’re no longer able to join us, but all tickets are non-refundable. Refunds will only be available if the show cannot go ahead due to COVID-19. Please scroll up and see our earlier FAQ for details.

    Is there a cash point at the Showground?
    No, there is no cash point available at the Norfolk Showground. The nearest cash point is approximately a two minute drive away at the Sainsbury’s roundabout near the Showground.

    Please Note: There are no live children’s characters/actors at our 2021 show.

     

     

    EXHIBITING IN MARQUEES


    IMPORTANT  Depending on the weather conditions, it is possible for condensation to form on the inside of the marquee roof, which may lead to water dripping as the marquee heats up.  The dripping usually stops once the marquee has heated.  Exhibitors should always cover their stand overnight with a waterproof covering and we strongly recommend that if you sell goods that can be damaged by water, you do not exhibit in the marquee. 

    Although we use event blow heaters in the marquee, it is recommended that you bring suitable warm clothing, as temperature can drop when doors are left open for longer periods of time.

     

     


    Whilst we advertise events, activities and entertainments we will not be held responsible for the failure of any events, activity and/or entertainment being available or the quality of any of the events, activities or entertainments. Failure of any of these to please cannot be held as a reason for refund.
